On Doors Open Day with the Mouse, we'll take a look into our sock treasure chest together and discover hundreds of different sock designs. We'll show you how we produce our socks sustainably and design a pair of fun children's socks together. You will see what it takes before you can wear a pair of socks.
On October 3, 2023 we will open the doors of our DillySocks® sock workshop. We offer a tour in the morning - from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - and one in the afternoon - from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
You can find our sock workshop at the address, DillySocks AG, Eibenstrasse 9, 8045 Zurich, 2nd floor .
We design the event for children and adults from 4 years old to 99 years old. Our entire team strives to create an event where there is something exciting for everyone.

When you register for the DillySocks doors open with the mouse sock workshop, you will automatically take part in our mouse competition . After the event we will be giving away these prizes:
1st prize: Sock voucher worth CHF / Euro 150,-
2nd prize: Sock voucher worth CHF / Euro 100,-
3rd prize: Sock voucher worth CHF / Euro 50,-

This is what awaits you on Doors Open Day with the mouse at DillySocks®
We take young and old on a sock course through our sock workshop. On each post we want to show you individual steps in how we make socks. The sock course should take around 1 hour in total. This is what awaits you at the different stations:
1st station: The production of our socks
Here we tell you and show you information about the production location, the machines in sock production and the sock composition, the design options and what we do to make our socks sustainable .
2nd station: This is how our DillySocks® get their fun, colorful designs
You see the design software and, as a participating child, you have the opportunity to share your desired designs. We want to design a sock interactively with all children.
3rd station: Marketing Snapshot
Marketing is super important for us! Here you can see how we present our socks on our Instagram channel .
4th station: Final photo in the studio
In a group of 5 we do a little photo shoot with the children. Every visitor can look forward to a small gift.

What do we do with the visitors who can't get a seat?
We accept all registrations. If the event on site is already fully booked, we will let you know and put you on a replacement list. If registered people cancel (at short notice), we will contact you and inform you about the available space. With a bit of luck it will still work.
So if you are already registered and you can't come, then write us an email to < contact@dillysocks.com> . In this way you free up your space again and other children will be happy about it.
If you didn't get a spot, we'll send you a virtual summary by email after the event. Everyone who registers takes part in our die-maus competition, where there are fun prizes to be won. And psst, there is also a little consolation prize for everyone.

Any questions about the Open Doors with the Mouse event?
Can parents also take part in the sock workshop?
Basically, I really like it. But we only have limited space in our office. And the kids definitely have priority on the sock course :-). If there is enough space, parents are welcome to join in. If not, we recommend parents a café in the area. It also depends on your child/ren. If a child doesn't want to stay without his parents, then mom or dad is better off staying there. We currently have good demand for the event.
Is there parking nearby?
Unfortunately we cannot provide or guarantee parking spaces. We recommend that you travel by public transport. There are parking spaces in the Blue Zone, but as I said we cannot guarantee availability here.
How do you get to the event by public transport?
You can reach our office very easily and easily with the S10 - get off at the Zurich Binz station - or with the S4 - get off at the Zurich Giesshübel station . It takes about 2 minutes on foot from both S-Bahn stops to our office.
How long will the event last?
We're doing an event in the morning and a second one in the afternoon. The sock course should last between 60 and 90 minutes in total. But we plan with leeway so that there is enough time for questions and spontaneous events :-). Who knows...? But it won't last more than 2 hours.
Can you come by earlier or spontaneously?
We are always open to spontaneity, but we would also be happy if you stick to the times specified. It's best to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the event starts.
When will you be informed whether registration was successful?
As already mentioned, we are accepting all registrations for now. We will then confirm your final participation about a week before the date. If there are any replacement places available, we will write to you. We will proceed as soon as we receive the registration. If it didn't work out this time, then you'll definitely take part in the raffle and everyone will receive a digital summary of the event. And psst, there is also a little consolation prize for everyone.
