Shingairai Mawarire, a nurse from Zimbabwe, has been working for Doctors Without Borders for 18 years.

Today, she courageously advocates for the mental health of young people (from teen moms to teenagers with HIV), breaking taboos with an innovative peer-to-peer approach.

We also believe that courage is shown in everyday life when you take a stand and stand up for what you believe in.
