Socks by lavie | Bedding by DillySocks

As a sustainable company, DillySocks stands for fair and ethical trading. This not only applies to colorful socks, but also to the selection of our partners. It sparked straight away at the sustainable Heimtextil brand lavie. That's why we literally crawled under the covers and are now collaborating in the lavie x DillySocks collab - bedding meets socks.

Socks from lavie, bed linen and hammam towel from DillySocks

The collaboration collection between lavie and DillySocks includes socks in four designs, a complete bed linen and a hammam towel.

You can find more behind-the-scenes information about working with lavie in our blog.

The subtle, stylish Nordic design of the socks was designed by lavie. The socks are perfect as tennis socks or sports socks. They are made from 80% organic cotton, 18% polyamide and 2% elastane. By the way: The proportion of synthetic materials is important for the comfort and longevity of the socks - so we can't do without polyamide and elastane entirely. With the GOTS seal, the socks have the highest standard in the sustainable fashion world. The socks are available in Switzerland and the EU.

The bed linen is a set and consists of a duvet cover and pillowcase. The pillowcase is available in two different designs. All bed linen is made from 100% organic cotton and also has the GOTS seal. The bed linen parts can also be purchased individually.

The bed linen and hammam towel are designed by DillySocks. The hammam towel is made from 70% combed organic cotton and 70% linen. This composition guarantees high absorbency. Like the rest of the collection, the hammam towel is GOTS certified. For logistical reasons we can only offer the bed linen and the hammam towel in Switzerland.

Meet Gunnar, the lovable kleptomaniac seagull

At the center of the campaign design is the cheeky seagull Gunnar, who is stylishly, discreetly and humorously integrated in various places:

A cozy little nest is desirable. Gunnar, our cheeky kleptomaniac bird from the cool north, also wants one of these. No challenge is too big for him on his thieving tour. And so he skilfully sails through the basement window to pluck the great sock from the clothesline, or on a meticulously planned trajectory, with translated speed into the hammam, where he rips the pestemal off the relaxed visitor and, last but not least, he flies blind Looping through the semi-dark bedroom where he loads up the incredibly cozy pillow. So he created the perfect combination for his home - thanks to lavie and DillySocks!

Pssst.. there is more background information about the creative campaign in our blog post .

Swiss design and sustainability as a common denominator.

Two labels – many similarities such as Swiss Design, #fromeuropewithlove and GOTS certified. For this collaboration we are leaving our usual territory. We trust each other. lavie places his bed linen in the hands of Dillysocks. And Dillysocks hands his socks over to the care of lavie. Now it's your turn. Decide for yourself and discover the socks from lavie and the bed linen from Dillysocks. We definitely had a lot of fun.

10% of sales go to rePATRN.

Our mutual friend Jeffrey is a Swiss citizen of Ghanaian descent. Even at a young age, he noticed that the streets in Ghana were much more littered than the streets in Switzerland, where he grew up. But why? Years later, the search for an answer led him to the source of the problem.

Plastic bottles are made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which is derived from petroleum. Due to its longevity, it has become very popular in the food and beverage and textile industries worldwide. But there is a big problem: plastic bottles will never disappear because they take at least 450 years to decompose.

With rePATRN, Jeffrey has built a company that addresses the recycling problem in Ghana.
