Sort socks

Sorting the socks by color:

An integral part of the washing routine: pre-sorting the laundry. Before you wash your socks, sort them by color and material. So the colors of the socks stay nice longer! We generally recommend pre-sorting the socks into black, white or colored laundry.

Turn socks inside out:

During preparation, socks should also be turned inside out - this allows skin particles to be removed easily.

The right washing program for socks

Cotton socks: wash at 30-40°C :

If the heat is too high, you torment your cotton socks and they can shrink. 30°C-40°C are completely sufficient.

Wool socks: wash on a wool cycle at 30°C and a maximum of 600 revolutions:

With our wool socks, we recommend washing the socks exclusively on the wool cycle. That's what they like by far the most. With the gentle wash cycle you ensure that your wool socks do not shrink and keep their shape. After washing, remove the socks directly from the machine, shake them slightly and pull them into shape when they are damp.

After washing the socks its time to hang them up

No dryer:

Socks live longer if you don't put them in the dryer. So our advice to you: skip the dryer and hang your socks up to dry. This is also good for the environment.

Fast sorting:

Our colorful DillySocks make sorting your socks super easy. Thanks to the colorful patterns, you can immediately see which socks belong together and don't have to look far! A clear benefit for your wardrobe and washing process, not only in terms of your look.

This way the colors of the T-shirts will stay nice for longer! We generally recommend pre-sorting the T-shirts into black, white or colored laundry.
  2. Turn T-shirts inside out before washing. This will protect the print on your T-shirt.
  3. Use a mild, color-preserving detergent that is suitable for printed and colored textiles. We recommend using an organic detergent . This way you can care for your T-shirt gently and protect the environment.
  4. Wash your T-shirt on a gentle cycle or use the delicates program on your washing machine.
  5. Dry your T-shirt in the air, preferably in the shade and not in direct sunlight . The sun can bleach the fabric.
  6. Do not use a tumble dryer for drying. Tumble dryers are particularly damaging to the T-shirt print.
  7. Lay the T-shirt down or hang it up to dry so it retains its shape.
  8. Iron the T-shirt on a low to medium heat setting. Turn the shirt inside out when ironing. This way you won't damage the print. Ideally, you should use a damp ironing cloth and place it between the iron and the fabric.
  9. Store the T-shirt in a dry place or hang it in a well-ventilated closet. This way it will retain its oversized shape.
  10. Never use bleach when washing your t-shirts.
  11. Of course, pay attention to the care instructions on the T-shirt label and follow the instructions.
  12. Avoid excessive rubbing or stretching of the fabric, especially in the print area.
  13. Avoid overloading the washing machine. This is gentler on the fibers of the T-shirt.
