With the opening of Panthera – World of Big Cats, Zurich Zoo has created an impressive new habitat. Tigers, Asiatic lions, snow leopards, and red pandas share a territory that promotes movement, diversity, and natural behavior. This animal dynamic was the inspiration for our exclusive Panthera sock collection, which we designed in close collaboration with Zurich Zoo.

Panthera: Future of Zurich Zoo
With PantheraWith the new habitat for red pandas in the Insect Forest, Zurich Zoo is taking important steps within its "Future Zoo 2050" development plan. The enclosures promote the animals' natural behavior and enhance their well-being. The goal is to create modern, species-appropriate habitats in which animals can express their natural behaviors. One highlight is the rotation principle. Tigers, lions, and snow leopards regularly change their areas within the enclosure. This keeps their senses sharp, everyday life exciting—and visitors constantly experience new perspectives.
From the catwalk in the zoo directly to your feet
Above the heads of zoo visitors runs the so-called catwalk – a 17-meter-long walkway that allows the big cats to keep an eye on everything. Below, people marvel, while above, the patrol continues, each animal telling its own story!

And if you can't decide, the collection is also available as a set of three. A gift for yourself or for someone you love. Also included: a contribution to the future. For every pair sold (for children or adults), we donate CHF 1, and for each set of three, we donate CHF 5 directly to the conservation projects of Zurich Zoo.
