Our sock monkeys - upcycling with a difference!

At the end of each season there are sock designs that are left over. We have decided to give these remaining socks a second life. With the help of various integrative foundations in Switzerland, cuddly sock monkeys are created from colored socks under the guidance of our talented sewing partner Rebekka.

Unique cuddly toys with great attention to detail

Our sock monkeys are not only incredibly cuddly, but also absolutely unique. Each monkey is individually hand stitched and stuffed. This makes our cuddly toys very special everyday companions that not only children but also adults appreciate.

Our design concept for the cuddly plush monkeys includes long arms and legs that are easy for little hands to grasp. In addition, of course, the pattern of the DillyMonkeys depends on the available sock designs. Each piece is colorful in a unique way and is truly one of a kind.

Here you can discover our sustainable plush monkeys .

Sustainable soft toys with natural filling

When it comes to the content of the sock monkeys, we rely on high-quality and ecological natural fibers. The filling of our sock monkeys consists of 100% kapok fibers. Kapok fibers come from the fruit capsules of the tropical wool tree. They are very soft, extremely light, fluffy and cuddly.

By the way: the silky, shiny kapok fibers contain a bitter substance that protects against moth and mite infestation. Because of this property, the kapok fiber is very popular with people who are allergic to animal hair and dust mites. In principle, our sock monkeys filled with kapok are also washable - our recommendation is to wash the cuddly toys at 30°C.

Sock monkeys support integrative institutions

It is important to us that the Dilly plush monkeys contribute to an integrative society in which everyone has their place. That's why we work with various non-profit organizations and integration projects to give people with disabilities or other challenges the opportunity to take part in our production. This way they can use their skills and talents to create something positive for themselves and society.

With the upcycling project, we support various integrative foundations and not only want to inspire our little customers, but also put a smile on the faces of everyone involved at work! This is also the case with our sewing partner Rebekka. Incidentally, Rebekka likes to be out and about with Doudou, her very own sock monkey. If you want to know more about their exciting encounters and travels, then you can be there up close.
