The development of the D-Compose socks can mark a significant milestone in the sustainable fashion world. Confirmed by the Cradle to Cradle Certified® Gold certificate, we are setting new standards for environmentally friendly clothing. The D-Compose degrades under best conditions within 6 weeks as they are made from 100% biodegradable materials.
Our Cradle to Cradle Certified® Gold socks are the ultimate in sustainability. The certificate means that every material in your socks is safe for people and the environment and can be completely recycled or composted. From the production process to the final product, everything is strictly controlled to meet the highest environmental standards. No harmful chemicals, no waste products - just pure, recyclable material.
The D-Compose socks are produced in Pakistan by a Cradle to Cradle certified manufacturer. Our production facility meets the highest standards and is particularly committed to social and sustainable areas, especially for women, including supporting daycare centers and similar institutions.
With these socks you are not only wearing cool, colorful casual socks, but you are also setting an example for an environmentally friendly future. Sustainable, stylish and 100% certified - we call it sock fiction!
The packaging is also made from 100% recycled cardboard, as are all our packaging and shipping materials.
LOVE IT, WEAR IT, COMPOST IT! The 100% biodegradable socks are plain casual socks. The socks bring color into everyday life and are available in a practical pack of two. These socks should be easy to use in your everyday life and in as many situations as possible. But we couldn't resist adding a little color. Otherwise we wouldn't be DillySocks®, one of the most sustainable green fashion brands in Switzerland.
The socks are available in black, blue, light blue, moss green, wine red and yellow.
Each model is available in four sizes
Basically, the D-Compose socks are unisex socks and suitable for both sexes.
The D-Compose socks are made from at least 98% organic cotton from Turkey, 1% naNea by OceanSafe polyester from Taiwan and 1% Roica™ elastane from Japan. These materials offer comfort and stretch without harming the environment. Both synthetic materials are Cradle to Cradle™ Gold certified and are completely biodegradable without leaving behind any harmful substances or mico-plastics. Production takes place in Pakistan by a Cradle to Cradle™ certified manufacturer who is particularly committed to social sustainability and supporting women.
NaNea by Oceansafe is a groundbreaking innovation in the field of synthetic textile fibers and yarns. Instead of conventional polyester, the materials are recyclable, biodegradable, compostable and toxin-free.
What makes naNea unique is its ability to achieve the Cradle to Cradle Certified Gold Standard for the biological cycle. This means that the products are not only produced in an environmentally friendly way, but also contribute to a sustainable cycle after their use.
Roica TM is a groundbreaking high-tech stretch fiber that has been considered the world's first recycled stretch innovation since 2016 and is certified according to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).
At the end of its life cycle, Roica TM degrades without releasing any harmful substances. This is guaranteed by certification according to the Cradle to Cradle Certified TM standard with a Material Health Gold Level certificate.
Caring for D-Compose socks is child's play. Machine washable at 30°C - no bleaching, no ironing, no tumble dryer. This means the socks stay in shape for a long time and can easily biodegrade at the end of their life cycle.
With the introduction of D-Compose socks, we want to send a strong signal for a sustainable future in the fashion industry. We are proud to bring this fashion innovation to market and thus have a positive impact on the environment and society.
LOVE IT, WEAR IT, COMPOST IT! Together with you, we make the world a better place – one pair of socks at a time. Every pair of DillySocks® is a statement for a more colorful, fairer and more ecological world.
